The 2nd TIMES School will take place from 16th to 19th November 2026 in Bologna, bringing together members of the TIMES community for a week of specialised training, scientific exchange and collaboration.
The school will focus on programming models and approaches for High-Performance Computing (HPC), with particular emphasis on how scientific software and computational methods can be adapted to modern HPC environments. The training will provide with practical knowledge and tools to support the development of efficient computational approaches and facilitate the transition of the research developments towards HPC platforms.
The event is part of the TIMES Doctoral Network’s ongoing training programme, which aims to equip the next generation of researchers with advanced theoretical and computational skills for the study of non-equilibrium phenomena in quantum materials.
